Room One
Our largest (5.3m x 5m) and most popular room. Large, light and airy, corner aspect with large lounge area, two sofas, entrance hall, ensuite with bath, superking bed and a 50″ TV.
Room Two
A Kingsize double (3m x 3.3m) – our smallest room, but still larger than many guest house rooms …. for those simply looking for somewhere to lay their head. Standard double bed, shower room and small seating area.
Room Three
A Kingsize double (3m x 3.7m) with a little more room than room two, these two rooms are next door to each other on a small half landing, so ideal to book for those travelling together and wanting rooms next door to each other.
Room Four
A large (5m x 4.3m) King Size Attic room, popular for its views towards Walla Crag, corner double aspect, comfortable lounge area with chaise longue and modern bathroom with large shower cubicle and a bath.
Room Six
Erm…where’s room 5? 🙂 This is another large (4.5m x3.8m) Superking sized Four-Poster bedroom with entrance hallway, and a large ensuite bathroom with bath and over-shower.
Room Five
Long ago, there was once a room 5. It was tiny, and only one person could stay in it. Eventually it got eaten by room four. You can now have a bath in the old room five if you stay in room four 😉

With over 25 pubs in a town of 5000 people anyone would think we are a town of alcoholics! Our huge number of visitors sustain our wonderful selection of pubs, housing micro breweries, tapas bars, DJ’s and live bands, or simply a good old traditional lakeland pub.
Events
Keswick hosts an ever-increasing range of events; Mountain festival, Words by the water literary festival, Jazz and Blues festival, Scruffs dog show, Film festival, Beer festival, and loads of running/swimming/biking events. As if there wasn’t enough to do already!
Shows & Entertainment
We are ambassadors for Keswick Theatre by the Lake and our guests can purchase discounted tickets for shows. We also promote our local cinema which shows a wide variety of blockbusters and underground films alongside music and art shows. We can also point you in the direction of all the pubs hosting live music during the week.
Outdoor & Adventure
Both of us regularly walk, run and ski the local fells, and swim and paddle the lakes and rivers. We can discuss and recommend outdoor routes and activities, just ask! We also sell discounted tickets for Derwentwater launch.
Day Trips
One of the joys of the Lake District is how close together everything is – in an hour’s drive or bus journey you can see half a dozen lakes and valleys, in a day’s walk you can be a thousand metres up, looking at Scotland and across to the Isle of Man (on a clear day!).
